Youth On Course Program

Horicon Hills Golf Club is proud to be a participant in the Youth on Course program. Youth on Course provides young people with access to life-changing opportunities through golf. Members of this program have access to play rounds of golf for $5 or less at thousands of golf courses in the U.S., Canada and Australia

How does it work?

  1. Go to the Youth on Course website – https://youthoncourse.org/
  2. Enroll the youth in the program and pay the 1-year membership fee (in our area the fee is approximately $20 for the year – prices vary based on location)
  3. Visit the “courses” page of the website and search the map for all the golf courses youth have an opportunity to play at a reduced rate.
  4. Place a phone call to the course you wish to play and make a tee time – let them know you are a “Youth on Course” member and provide your membership number to them.
  5. Some courses do have criteria for when the Youth on Course members can play as well as the fee they charge if the youth will be utilizing a cart instead of walking. Be advised that costs listed on the “courses” page of the Youth on Course website are for walking rates and participating golf courses may have a fee to utilize a power cart.
  6. Check in at the golf course where a tee time has been booked and HAVE A GREAT DAY OF GOLF!

** PLEASE BE ADVISED: Youth on Course has gone to an Etiquette Curriculum and a Golf Cart Curriculum. These are 2 training programs that some golf courses are beginning to require that these curriculum be completed prior to golfing at their course. These are online training programs to help members prepare for a safe and enjoyable golf experience. To access these training programs, please go to: www.youthoncourse.org/curriculum-link

Etiquette Curriculum – required for new members to learn the basics of golf etiquette, safety and respect for the course.

Golf Cart Curriculum – available to members age 16+ to ensure that they understand cart safety, etiquette and responsible driving before operating a golf cart.

If you need to complete either curriculum or re-access your quiz, you can easily generate your personalized link by visiting www.youthoncourse.org/curriculum-link.
